Already August.
I’ve been busy, and I love it. Between work and the band I’m on a constant go. But for the first time in my life I have felt stressed out from time to time. I deal with it, cause I get to that point because cause of the effort I have chosen to put fourth.
I love my job. I work at a nursing home (activity director). I love the fact that as soon as I walk in the door, that I can just put whatever is going on at the door. Come in and see all the residents. Knowing them and having them in my life is so great. I spend more time with them than I do my own family. They are always happy to see me, but they don’t know that I need them as much as they need me. Getting to know so many of them has been an amazing blessing.
We recently added a new guitar playing to our band , Eric Custer. I think he is the finaly piece, having him on lead guitar has improved our sound even more. One of these days we will have a booking agent and a manager hopefully. We are slowing in the process of songwriting but thats something you can’t rush. We will get the album written soon. We have 5 more songs to go. I am thankful to the help we have been getting from WLMD in Macomb, and everyone at Prestige Communications, namely Cassie and Rick. They are really good people.
I’m looking forward to the future, as always :)
